Not seeing new information:
We update our site several times a week. If you've seen a newspaper ad or received an email about an upcoming auction and you don't see it on our calendar page, you are, most likely, viewing a "stored" version of the page.
You have several options for addressing this issue.
  • You can "refresh" or "reload" each page on each visit to the site.
    To do this either click on the refresh button on your browser's toolbar or click on a blank area of the screen and choose refresh from the pop-up menu. You will need to do this on each page you've previously visited within the site - particularly the calendar page and the detailed auction pages.
  • You can clear your cache of saved files before visiting the site.
    To do this go to your Control Panel or choose "Tools" from your browser's toolbar, click on Internet Options, choose to delete files (and offline content if you've saved the site to view offline).
  • You can change your internet setting to automatically look for a new version of the page on each visit or each time your launch your browser.
    To do this follow the instructions in the previous step, then, after deleting files, click on settings and make your selection, for best results, choose either "every visit to the page" or "every time you start Internet Explorer" (if that is your browser)

    Problems with email updates:
    We are currently in the process of setting up a new system for handling our email update address list. We appreciate your patience while we complete this task. Our web site will announce when we are ready to begin accepting email addresses for registration again.

    Problem with inventory lists or pictures for upcoming auctions:
    We've tried to set the site up to be compatible with any browser; however, cross-compatibility - especially with older browsers - isn't always easy. We strongly encourage you to keep your browser updated in order to get the most out of your Internet experience. If you are having difficulties, please email BallAuctionNOSPAM@sbcglobal.net (just remove the "NOSPAM" from that email address) with "Technical Assistance" as the subject. In the message, please describe the problem and let us know what browser you are using and what version (ie, Internet Explorer 6.0 or Netscape 7.1). We'll do our best to accomodate your needs - in some cases, a text-only, no-frills page may be available for you to view.
